Confinement Day 5, Weather Forecast to Get Worse...

Just curious -- does anyone else out there identify just a little with Jack Nicholson's character in "The Shining"?

EGADS, Sarah. How many days have y'all been out of school now? We will go back in the morning unless something amazing happens. . .of course, we haven't been confined at home for five days, so we aren't to the Jack Nicholson photo just yet. . .

ROFL!! Oh yes. This is day 6 of weather confinement for me and I'm going just a little bit stark raving mad.

We actually have had school this week -- Mon. was scheduled MLK day, but we were confined at home. So, I worked yesterday, we had a delayed start today (so that took 2 hours of my day off to referee the arguments), then I'll work again tomorrow when it is supposed to start snowing again and last through Saturday sometime. So if I'm not confined to my house, I've been confined to a classroom the size of my bedroom with 22 of my closest 8 year old friends.

You need to go out and buy the speed stacking game before you are cooped up in your house again. My son got it for his birthday and it is so much fun. It is addictive. We are all trying to beat each others time. If you are snowed in that long, you could get really good and go on the stacking tour. Yes, they have a speed stacking tour. I doubt they have a mommy stacking tour though.

I was soooo ready for the kids to go to school. On Wed Rt ended up having to take them to work with him so that I could start classes. Great fun!!!!
