Pics of the Day

I wanted to post some pics from Coffee Group today. First, however, I would like to mention that even when we are all 5 TRYING to have our picture made it is VERY difficult to get a good picture of five people. I submit this photo as evidence:

I LOVE this picture of Tammy -- she looks as enraptured and excited as she truly was today. I, on the other hand, look like I'm afraid her coffee cup is going to crawl away, or I may lay my head down and have a nap (this is one of the only pictures with my eyes open, so that must have been a danger).

I must be VERY captivating!

Donna welcomes the crowd, Denise wipes her brow!

I HATE this picture of me, (yes, Denise, with the flaming white-hot passion of 1,000 suns) BUT -- I HAD to let you all see that whether or not I had anything of value to say or not, my nails looked GREAT!

THIS is my favorite picture, because this is what it's all about -- lots and lots of laughter.

Your nails were fabulous! Your talk was wonderful - I really feel like you hit a home run.

Now, tomorrow.....

And when have your nails NOT looked great, I'd like to know???

Did you have diet Coke in your loverly mug? It's not QUITE the diet Coke container of choice--but it's really cute.

May I just say from a totally objective and unbiased viewpoint that the Coffee Group's presentation was wonderful Monday morning, and that my baby daughter made her blubbering mom and grinning-like-an-idiot dad awesomely proud. In truth, it was a privilege to witness your highly skilled proclamation of faith.

I bet Mignon started in the car for a warm-up. Right? :)

As a postscript to my earlier, totally objective observation, may I just say that H.I.P., the praise team on which Troy sings, absolutely hit it out of the park this evening! And I know I must be objective 'cause the sound man was quoted as saying they were the best praise team that's ever performed in Moody Coliseum. All in all, this has been a pretty darn amazing experience for the geezers.

And no, Rox, Nana waited until the actual presentation to tear up.
