I randomly checked out your site today. I am proud of you for addressing this topic (almost as proud as I am of Oprah for finally addressing the needs of prisoners). Your article points to a very common and questionable tendency of human beings--that of having moral/ethical standards for groups or nations that are different from those for standards for individuals. It's a dangerous and slippery slope, I think. Your blog about it points, also, to the tendency of some Christians to not want to admit their shortcomings as individuals but especially as a group. So, I'm proud, too that you highlighted the several historical failures of Christians where they were more interested in being "right" than in being light, love, compassion. Hope you're well.
