My dad lost his little brother 4 weeks ago and his mom last week...so this topic has been prevalent in our conversations at home, lately. I have reminded my teenagers that death is a part of life - and it comes relatively at the beginning of our lives, compared to the eternity we will live with the Father! It's all part of the plan!

You cannot argue the wisdom of Calvin and Hobbes. That's for sure.
As I prepare to go to my fourth visitation/funeral, I must say I'm with Calvin.

Calvin always makes me smile. Especially when contemplating deep stuff.
