Having an 11 year old girl is quite a learning experience. There is crying, eye-rolling, back talking, hormone surges, and door slamming on a good day. But there is also, "Mom, do we have the ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies?" And she's off, knowing she DARE not leave my kitchen any worse for the wear.
