  1. I know what you mean.

I was in Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, and was startled by the rows of fall foliage and scarecrows and the aisles of Christmas ornaments and ribbons. The fall items were already on sale for 50% off.

Seasonal offerings are working against our attempts to live in the present! :-)

  2. girl i feel ya! what's even worse than that is the fact that they put all the christmas stuff out June 1st! JUNE 1ST!? seriously!? I asked the guy putting it out if it was on sale and he said, "no. corporate told us to start putting it out for the holiday season. we usually don't do it until the week after the FOURTH OF JULY"

    Hi, Sarah...

I saw you comment on Lena's blog (where you got your template) and I'm wondering if you can help me figure out how to make the html code work. Your blog is gorgeous and I'd love for mine to be, too. Ironically enough, I wanted this same layout, too. LOL But I'm getting a coding error. Any advice?

    Thanks so much!!

  8. When I saw all the Christmas stuff in HL the other day, I really wanted to know if anyone actually buys any of it yet? If I did, I would have to find a place to stash it until Christmas, then I would probably forget that I bought it or where I put it!

Seeing all the Santas and ornaments, etc, in July/August makes all that stuff look ridiculous!

I'm going to HL tomorrow for a paint brush stock up while they are still 50% off! (I'll try to avert my eyes from the red felted and glittered orbs when I first walk in the doors.)
