Especially after my dr. told me that was partially contributing to my heart double beating. Sometimes I don't even have one in a day. . .and sometimes I have three. When I have three, I definitely feel the difference--more tense, jittery, etc. I do half caf/half decaf tea to cut down on the caffeine Roxannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03483570734127165995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8252605.post-1145007933671355902006-04-14T04:45:00.000-05:002006-04-14T04:45:00.000-05:00There was a time when I drank nothing but Diet Cok...There was a time when I drank nothing but Diet Coke. I started getting headaches, too. I went cold turkey and left caffeine completely behind. It was rough for a few days, but I felt much better afterwards.

Of course, this was pre-children. And since I had my third, I am, once again, a caffeine junkie. But now coffee is my drug of choice.

Good luck!SuperMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00373722602201237644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8252605.post-1144966320593822292006-04-13T17:12:00.000-05:002006-04-13T17:12:00.000-05:00Mmmmmm, Diet Coke. It is a weird stinkin' chemical.

There are a lot of other things that can trigger those migraines - it's different for different people. I am betting that your headaches are not from the caffeine though...I have been having headaches that I will not call migranes and my OB/GYN suggested that I take two Excedrin Migranes (which has loads of caffeine) and go to a coffee place for a double shot of expresso.
